This is a thread for everyone that has pets, pls introduce them and tell me the story of how you got them and how old they are now :3 bonus points for posting pictures of them <3
I'll go first: I have two gremlin cats that I adopted from our local humane society in October of 2020. Bandit is a Siamese ragdoll (we think) and Artemis is a domestic mixed breed. So, our calico cat, Angel, had passed away in the spring of 2019 and it was really hard for us. But our house we were renting got mice in the house and we were considering getting another pet at the time. With the 14 mice in our house we went to the humane society and saw what they had for cats to adopt. We had our eyes on Bandit who was 4 years old at the time and we also met Artemis who was 1. My fiancé said what if we got two cats instead. And I said say no more! We adopted two cats that day. We didn't think it was going to be difficult because our previous cat was very well behaved. But it took a lot of training to get Bandit and Artemis to behave. (though we have been mice free since) Now they are still gremlins and are more used to living with us. I love them both very much and am very grateful they're in my life, even with all the shedding lmao.

Re: Introduce your pets
I love your cats. :'3 So happy you adopted them too!
I have two budgies, both are turning two years old this year. The one on the left is Yuri, and the one on the right is Igor. Igor is actually a female, but when we first got them I was unsure of his gender and besides, I wanted to use the name and birds don't give a HECC about gender norms anyway! Igor is also at least partly an English budgie. :3 English budgies are larger than regular ones, and have more and fluffier feathers.
