I have a ton on my "currently playing" list, but right now I'm focusing on Moon: Remix RPG and Soul Hackers 2, the latter of which just came out.
Moon is very surreal and one of the first "anti-rpgs", influencing the likes of Undertale. The "RPG" in the title is kind of misleading as it plays as more of an... adventure game, I'd say? There's no battles (so far at least), and you don't have any stats aside from your "LOVE level". You explore the world, talk to people, solve various issues they might have, and that way you increase your LOVE. The more LOVE you have, the longer you can stay awake and explore the world - you see, the game has a day cycle and the characters in the game do different things depending on the day of the week and the time of day. It was a bit rough at the beginning as I didn't understand why my character was walking more sluggishly as he ran out of LOVE, and it led to me getting a game over a couple of times and losing progress, as you save by going to bed. The game is old and doesn't explain these things, so I had to look up a manual online and that is my tip for anyone who's interested in the game. Aside from the fact that the game doesn't hold your hand with these things, I'm definitely enjoying it and trying not to look things up unless I'm really stuck.
Soul Hackers 2 I got on Friday and have been enjoying so far. The battle system is more simplified compared to its prequel/other SMT games, especially since they removed the Press Turn mechanic; Hit enemy weakness -> Gain additional turn, same goes for your enemies, and if you null/drain/repel etc or miss you lose a turn (with variations depending on the game). I've also read that battles eventually get really trivial.
But I'm really liking the characters so far, the story I can't comment much on yet as I'm still early in the game, and I like the references I've seen to previous Devil Summoner games as well. The characters/world is the highlight so far for me.
By the way, a site recommendation: https://backloggery.com/
It's a site where you keep track of your backlog and what you're playing currently. My name is the same there as here, so if anyone's interested send me a friend request!
